History

The Ranch boasts over 52 lakes and ponds, but nestled between all those bodies of water is some of the best wildlife habitat in the Midwest. The perfect mix of field edges, prairie grasses, wetlands, timber, food plots, pastures, and tillable land is home to many pheasants, quail, doves, rabbits, turkey, whitetail deer, ducks, and of course giant geese. Also many species of songbirds, migratory birds, hawks, eagles, coyotes, and many other small mammals all utilize and thrive in our intensively managed land. The reclaimed strip mine ground at the Ranch truly is a wildlife paradise.

We offer upland game, waterfowl hunting, and shooting instructional opportunities for our members and their guests. Our waterfowl hunting season starts at the end of October each year, and our upland hunting and shooting instructions start at the beginning of December each year. No experience is necessary to enjoy spending time out in the field at the Ranch. Our goal is to help introduce you and your family to the joy and sport of hunting.

Conservation education is our main focus with our hunting programs at the Ranch. We focus on hunter safety, habitat improvements, and properly managing wildlife population densities. Creating memories that will not only last forever, but help shape conservation practices for future generations of land owners.

Genesis 1:26-28 (MSG)

God spoke: “Let us make human beings in our image, make them reflecting our nature, So they can be responsible for the fish in the sea, the birds in the air, the cattle, And, yes, Earth itself, and every animal that moves on the face of Earth.”
